So if you've never seen anyone bouncing off the walls happy....it's a treat.
Roman was quite excited, to say the least. It was overcast and a little rainy - which should make for an interesting race. As we all agreed - we don't want anyone getting hurt - but the wet does make it more exciting.....
As fantastic as the day was, and as awesome as it was to see my favourite rider (not do too well - but I saw him) - Rossi riding live and to see my (now second favourite rider, after the untimely death of Simoncelli) kick some serious butt and hang on to third to be the first Brit in 12 years to stand on the podium - there is not a lot I can write about today. The atmosphere was incredible - the noise spectacular and I am so glad my trip here was so (accidentally) well timed.
It seemed like both a long day (pretty uncomfortable seats) and really short - over way too fast.
Watching Jorge Lorenzo get pipped just before the finish by Danny Pedrosa was freakin' priceless....do NOT like that little turd...arrogant prick. The roar from the crowd showed that this was pretty much a general feeling. There was a sea of Pedrosa orange in our grandstand anyway - and they fairly erupted - was awesome. Bradl (the German) is really showing he's got some chops - he's definately one to watch - he's only young, but got real talent. The young Czech, Karel Abraham is mixing it up in the middle of the field too - a couple more years and a better ride could be interesting with him.
We had dinner at a random pub we found on the way back to the 'hotel' - which was really good - loads of other people from the GP both on four wheels and two. I will never understand why a female on a bike creates so much attention though. You'd think riding a bike was difficult or something, or required masses of muscle or something.....
We pretty much crashed when we got back to the 'hotel' - big day - full of excitement....and tomorrow it's all about the castle.......
