There were consoles everywhere with buttons to press to make things work and move and set the scene. Traffic lights worked and the cars/trucks stopped at the lights and then went again when they went green. It was amazing!
Some scenes were a little unusual. They had the red-light house in Emden in there - complete with a prozzie sorting out her customer (will include that shot when I upload)...and even had a couple going at it in the park - admittedly this was a fair way away from where you stood, so it was not readily apparent to kids who probably gave up the search for the scene after not finding it straight away.......
The detail was increadible, absolutely astounding. Trains pulling out of the stations, with announcements etc - very well worked out and definately well worth a visit. I hope next time I come back Jemgum is incuded - I think a letter would be in order.......

Ahem.....
Flotja (pet rabbit) led us a merry dance this evening - he ran away from home today - several hours later the neighbours were sure they had seen him - so we were scrambling under bushes trying to find him - but we had no luck. Mama is heartbroken. Papa is upset too, I think - but I don't think he likes to show it - he reckons the animal is too stupid to know when he's got it good and is probably been eaten by a dog already. Mama is not impressed with that line of thought.
