No walk today - it was raining on and off pretty consistently, so it wasn’t worth the risk of getting drenched. It’s one thing to get wet in summer in Australia - but when it’s only a few degrees above freezing - it’s a different matter entirely.
This evening I joined Mama and Papa at their monthly Platt speaking club at the Seelhaus. I may not understand too much, but I love listening to Platt - it always sounds so friendly. They always spoke to me in German though, and I was able to follow a lot more of the conversation than I thought I would have been able to. It was a really fun night and I met Bernard’s parents, and Christian and Edith were also there, so it was great to catch up with them.
